PRESENTATION
The Department of Culture and Territory Management groups together several diplomas, oriented towards the training of managers specialized in particularly attractive sectors of activity: cultural institutions, mountain professions, human resources management, sustainable development, public organizations, day care centers, clinics and retirement homes, and the social and solidarity economy.
The training courses offered have a double objective:
- the professionalization of students through compulsory internships in the 2nd year of the Master's program and recommended in the 1st year, the completion of projects, courses taught in part by working professionals, a pedagogical approach that uses case studies and simulations, and teaching teams that are strongly involved in professional networks;
- the excellence of the knowledge acquired thanks to the attachment of the department's teaching teams to two research laboratories of excellence in the fields of economics and management: LEST (Laboratoire d'Economie et Sociologie du Travail, UMR CNRS 7317) and AMSE (Aix-Marseille School of Economics, UMR CNRS 7316).
Another objective is to encourage open-mindedness and adaptability by creating groups of students from diverse backgrounds (foreign students, professionalization contracts, continuing education, research orientation).
