  • Objectives

    The International Hospitality Management (MIH) program in the Master's program in Management and International Business prepares students for management positions in international hospitality establishments.

    Hospitality and International Hospitality Services (IHS) cover :

    • the management of hotels, hotel-restaurants, leisure and accommodation facilities, senior citizens' homes and even medical institutions
    • Development and optimization of international tourist products
    • International promotion of incoming tourism in its host institutions
    • Market research, SAI marketing, monitoring demand trends
    • International communication for SAIs

    The course enables students to acquire the necessary administrative, financial and human resources management skills for international hospitality businesses. Particular emphasis is placed on market research, communication and marketing techniques to optimize the commercial function of these structures, and keep abreast of changing needs and market conditions.

    At the end of the course, graduates are able to take initiatives and operate autonomously in international contexts. They will have the knowledge and know-how to

    • master basic management techniques for international hospitality establishments
    • Analyze the company's international environment and assess its commercial and strategic positioning
    • Define the prospects for international development of companies and products, particularly in light of the changing needs of international customers
    • Practice intercultural management of staff and management teams, particularly in conflict resolution

    Who can apply?

    Students who have successfully completed the first year of a Master's degree (60 ects), with good thinking and expression skills, a good knowledge of the fundamentals of management, and the ability to understand and express themselves in two modern foreign languages.

    As some courses are taught in English, a certificate of English language proficiency (TOIEC, TOEFL, etc.) is required, among other documents to be attached to the online application.

  • Practical information

    Internships last from 3 to 6 months in the Master 2 MIH program, starting at the end of March. During the internship, students are required to apply all the knowledge acquired during the Master's program by carrying out an assignment with an international dimension for an MIH company.

    For the project, students work in groups to finalize an international host structure development project (SAI) defined with their tutor and validated by the educational supervisor.
