Objectives
The aim of the Sustainable Supply Chain Management course (MALO Durable) in the "Production Management, Logistics and Purchasing" master's degree is to train high-level professionals capable of designing and organizing strategies for managing the flow of raw materials, finished or semi-finished products, from procurement to dispatch to customers, with the constant objective of optimizing the cost-quality-delivery ratio.
On completion of the course, graduates will be able to :
- Ensure the operational management of flows (physical and information) within the supply chain;
- Optimize the supply chain;
- Define and manage performance objectives (value creation, costs, service levels, etc.) in line with the company's strategic objectives;
- Manage international supply chains
- Initiate continuous improvement and/or reconfiguration processes.

Practical information
The MALO course in the "Production, Logistics and Purchasing Management" master's program is supported by CRET-LOG (EA 881), a laboratory specializing in logistics with a threefold vocation: academic and applied research, higher education and professional expertise. CRET-LOG develops research in logistics and supply chain management, distribution channel management and inter-organizational strategies. Most of the laboratory's research professors are involved in the Master's program.
In the second year, a 6-month internship is compulsory. It can be carried out in France or abroad. This course is available in :

Career opportunities
The GPLA Master's degree is aimed at jobs in operations management (purchasing-supply, logistics, distribution, logistical support, etc.) and the management of organizations involved in flow management. It therefore leads to supply chain management jobs and functions, both in the core activities of industrial, commercial and service companies, and in support activities. These professions concern all sectors of activity, in private companies (GE and TPE) and public organizations.

J’ai choisi d’intégrer le Master GPLA car selon moi le domaine de la supply chain, et notamment de la logistique, est le tenant et l’aboutissant de la quasi intégralité des réalisations de l’Homme. Les atouts de cette formation ? Ce sont les intervenants enseignants-chercheurs et professionnels !
J'ai choisi ce master parce que c'était la suite logique de mes études après un DUT transport et une licence professionnelle logistique globale. C'était ce master qui correspondait à mes attentes et comme j'avais déjà réalisé 2 années en alternance, il était nécessaire pour moi de continuer en alternance.
J'ai trouvé ce secteur là très intéressant et attractif, alors quand j'ai dû choisir mon master après ma licence d'économie gestion de la FEG AMU, le choix par excellence pour poursuivre ma carrière dans le milieu de la logistique, fut le master GPLA.
Le choix du master GPLA MALO s'est fait après une formation de commerce international et une expérience positive dans ce domaine en entreprise.
Les points positifs de cette formation : elle reste très générale dans la logistique et il y a un très grand nombre d'intervenants qui viennent de secteurs différents qui permettent d'avoir une vue d'ensemble de la logistique.
Les atouts du Master : l'enseignement en mode projet, qui nous prépare à la vie professionnelle et la possibilité de faire une année d'alternance, qui était pour moi la meilleure solution vers l'excellence opérationnelle et universitaire.
