[Round Table] Rethinking the value of higher education in the age of generative AI
Generative artificial intelligence (gAi) is no longer just a tool: it is a profound challenge to the traditional relationship between knowledge and learning. Where higher education has historically been structured around the transmission of expert knowledge, the centrality of the professorial figure and the support of administrative services, it is now evolving in an environment where technologies enable knowledge to be collected, analyzed and synthesized at derisory cost.

💡This is the theme of this morning's round table discussion organized by the Faculty of Economics and Management, dedicated to the changing missions of higher education and research, the recomposition of skills, new pedagogies, the redefinition of the value of diplomas...

🗣️Merci to speakers:
- Christophe Batier, Head of IA at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1
- Alizé Cabalero, Head of Financial Services, Faculty of Economics and Management
- Aurélie Dudézert, university professor of information systems management at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School
- Damien Mougey, Program Manager at Airbus Helicopters

And thanks to Cécile Godé, professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management and member of CERGAM - Centre d'Études et de Recherche en Gestion d'Aix-Marseille, as well as to Tiphanie Tauvel and Clarisse Nabet, from the Faculty's Cellule Innovation Pédagogique, for proposing this round table, a key moment for collectively thinking about our positioning as teaching and research professionals in the IAg era.
