At the beginning of this academic year, we are delighted to announce that Claude Gamel, Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management and researcher at the Laboratory of Economics and Sociology of Work (LEST), has been awarded the Grammaticakis-Neumann Prize 2021 by the prestigious Académie des sciences morales et politiques, for his book "Esquisse d'un libéralisme soutenable. Travail, capacités, revenu de base", published on February 10 by Presses universitaires de France.



The award ceremony will take place during the opening ceremony of the Academy on November 15, under the dome of the Institut de France.



The annual Grammaticakis-Neumann Prize is "intended for the best scientific work compatible with the spirit of pragmatic philosophy. It is awarded alternately by the Political Economy, Statistics and Finance, Morality and Sociology, and Philosophy sections.
