  • Objectives

The aim of the program is to prepare students for the Diplôme Supérieur de Comptabilité et Gestion (DSCG), a Master's-level state diploma, and to award a DESU (DSCGU: Diplôme Supérieur de Comptabilité et Gestion Universitaire).

The course consists of seven basic units and two advanced units. The basic UEs correspond to the seven exams making up the DSCG, while the two reinforced UEs are designed to complement preparation for exams 1 and 4, given their difficulty. All UEs are independent of each other, and enrolment is "à la carte". Fees are given in the "Training costs" section.

This course provides students with a basic knowledge of accounting, corporate finance and management control.

The course enables students to gradually acquire advanced skills in a wide range of fields: business law, administrative and accounting management, corporate organization and management, finance, new technologies, etc. These areas of expertise are fundamental to the training of chartered accountants and accountancy managers.

On completion of this course, graduates will be able to work in corporate accounting and finance structures as well as in accounting firms. Graduates of the DSCGU can work as an assistant to a chartered accountant or statutory auditor, as head of an accounting department, as chief accountant in a small or medium-sized business, as a junior management controller, or as a financial or legal advisor. It can be taken towards the Diplôme d'Expert-Comptable (DEC).

The compulsory 12-week internship in a public accounting firm is combined with the writing of a Master 2 dissertation (preparatory to the DSCG).

The Faculty of Economics and Management has long-standing partnerships with ANECS Provence (Association Nationale des Experts Comptables Stagiaires de Provence) and the Ordre des Experts Comptables, as well as collaborations with a number of public accounting firms in the PACA region, making it easy for students to integrate into companies.
