Objectives
The aim of this program is to prepare students for the Diplôme de Comptabilité et Gestion (DCG), a bachelor's-level state diploma, in two years, starting in the 2nd year. It also leads to a university diploma (DCGU).
This course provides students with basic knowledge in the fields of accounting, corporate finance and management control. Students will be able to manage client files in an office environment, as well as the complete bookkeeping of an SME.
The DCG gives access to positions of responsibility in the accounting professions.
The compulsory internship lasts at least 8 weeks. It must be completed in an accounting firm or in the accounting and finance departments of a company, public authority or association.
The diploma, based on a national curriculum, corresponds to a level of qualification appreciated by employers, and offers clearly identified career opportunities in the accounting professions.
Holders of the DCGU can work as an assistant to a chartered accountant or statutory auditor, head of an accounting department, chief accountant in a SME/SMI, junior management controller, or financial or legal advisor.
It is therefore a diploma that enables you to enter the job market, but it is also the first step in Accounting and Management studies towards the DSCG (Diplôme Supérieur de Comptabilité et Gestion) and then the DEC (Diplôme d'Expert-Comptable).
Skills acquired :
- Management of a client file in the office
- Complete bookkeeping for an SMEThe Faculty of Economics and Management has long-standing partnerships with ANECS Provence (Association Nationale des Experts Comptables Stagiaires de Provence) and the Ordre des Experts Comptables, as well as collaborations with numerous chartered accountancy firms in the PACA region, making it easy for students to integrate into companies.
