  • Objectives

The objective of the training is to prepare for the Diplôme Supérieur de Comptabilité et Gestion (DSCG), a state diploma at Master's level, and to deliver a DESU (DSCGU: Diplôme Supérieur de Comptabilité et Gestion Universitaire).

The proposed preparation is composed of seven basic teaching units (UE) and two reinforced teaching units (UE). The basic UEs correspond to the seven tests making up the DSCG and the two reinforced UEs are proposed to complete the preparation of tests 1 and 4 given their difficulty. All units are independent of each other and registration is "à la carte". The rates are given in the section "Training costs".

This training allows students to obtain basic knowledge in the fields of accounting, corporate finance and management control.

The training allows the progressive acquisition of advanced skills in a wide range of fields: business law, administrative and accounting management, company organisation and management, finance, new technologies... These areas of expertise are fundamental to the training of the expert and the head accountant.

At the end of this training, the graduates will be able to work in the accounting and financial structures of companies as well as in accounting firms. Holders of the DSCGU can work as a chartered accountant or auditor, head of an accounting department, chief accountant of SME/SMIs, junior management controller or financial or legal advisor. It allows a continuation of studies towards the Diploma of Chartered Accountant (DEC).

The compulsory internship lasts 12 weeks in an accounting firm and is associated with the writing of a Master 2 level thesis (preparatory to the DSCG).

The Faculty of Economics and Management has longstanding partnerships with ANECS Provence (National Association of Trainee Accountants of Provence), the Order of Chartered Accountants and collaborations with many accounting firms in the PACA region, the integration of students in companies is very favoured.

    Teaching period :

The teachings take place from November to October.

The two reinforced EUs take place in May and June and then September and October.

The total number of teaching weeks in the training is 32 per year.

It is possible to follow all the EUs over one or more years.

The DSCGU is a training course focused on the preparation of the DSCG. It is structured around seven basic EUs and two reinforced EUs. The basic UEs are defined in direct connection with the seven DSCG tests (UE 1: Legal, Tax and Social Management, UE 2: Finance, UE 3: Management and Management Control, UE 4: Accounting and Auditing, UE 5: Information Systems Management, UE 6: Oral Examination in Economics partly in English and UE 7: Industrial Relations). The reinforced UEs complete the preparation of the legal, tax and social management and accounting and auditing tests.

The validation of the DESU is obtained by validation of the seven basic UEs.

The organization of the training offers students a sustained preparation for the DSCG exams by proposing :

    • Supervised homework (four one-hour assignments per UE except UE 7).
    • Two examination periods allowing, on the one hand, the validation of the DSCGU and, on the other hand, training for the DSCG tests.
