In October 2022, the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMU/CNRS/EHESS/Centrale Marseille), in partnership with the Rectorat d'Aix-Marseille and the Bibliothèque de l'Alcazar, will launch the sixth season of its Sciences Echos lecture series.
These conferences aim to promote economic science and the diversity of its themes. As a meeting place between science and society, they provide an opportunity for dialogue between researchers in economics and students in the final year of high school and preparatory classes for the grandes écoles. This year, these conferences are also open to undergraduate students.
Four conferences are organized between October 2022 and March 2023 for high school students, students in preparatory classes and undergraduate students:
October 11, 2022: "General interest, particular interests and democracy" by Charles Figuières
November 8, 2022: "Pollution, population and territories" by Elisa Dienesch
January 24, 2023: "Equal opportunities" by Alain Trannoy
March 14, 2023: "Well-being and multilingualism" by Miriam Teschl
They take place at the Alcazar Library, on Tuesdays, from 2 to 4 pm.
