Documents to prepare before applying
Please prepare the following mandatory documents for your mobility file:
- Passport: required for destinations outside Europe, valid for at least 6 months after your return. To be renewed as soon as you apply, if necessary. For European countries (excluding the UK), an identity card is sufficient.
- Draft study contract: one form for each partner university, listed in order of preference and signed by the person in charge of teaching in the year of mobility, e.g.: I'm currently in L3 and I'll be doing my mobility in M1, the person in charge of teaching in M1 will have to sign. Without this validation, your application will not be accepted. Study contract to download
- CV in French, including if you are repeating a year.
- Covering letter to AMU (in French), explaining your mobility project. A single letter is sufficient, even if you are applying to several institutions.
- Transcripts: including baccalaureate + all years of university study, including repeats.
- To calculate your grade point average: add your baccalaureate grade point average + the grade point average for each academic year (including repeat years), then divide by the number of years taken into account.

- Language certificate:
- Compulsory and official (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, etc.), depending on partner requirements.
- For European countries, an English language certificate issued by an AMU lecturer may suffice, unless otherwise stated on the host university's website. Check partner university websites directly.
Language level is an essential factor in the success of your exchange. Make sure you have the required level before applying.

Order your destination choices according to your preferences. If you are selected on your wish 1, we will not look at your other wishes. Be careful not to put only very competitive destinations, as you risk not being selected for lack of space.
