✨ We were invited with several students from the faculty, to Grand Central Marseille, to the headquarters of the newspaper La Provence, by Olivier Biscaye, its Editorial Director. La Provence, in 🧡 Marseille, is our new neighbor 🤝, on the faculty campus, in Colbert, a 3-minute walk away: a new opportunity!
💥 🗨️ 🗯️ 💬 The deal: 1 student = 1 question enabled Olivier Biscaye to address all the issues facing PQR today:
👉 digital transition and local identity, proximity ;
👉 challenges and business models;
👉 positive information in the media, editorial line ;
👉competition with digital and social networks;
👉 democratic role, defending our republican values, ethics and the fight against disinformation;
👉 young people and the media;
👉 journalistic independence and shareholders ;
👉 media concentration and pluralism;
👉the new journalism, AI and the transformation of journalism professions.... Our students, who were in part members of the Eco-presse and Colbertmoov student associations, appreciated the climate of trust and mutual respect during their exchanges, an environment conducive to curiosity, encouraging them to explore to make society. 😊
