Our GPLA MALO, Production, Logistics, Purchasing Management | Supply Chain Management course students recently presented the results of the interdisciplinary project ⚡ ExosqAMU ⚡ on which they worked during their last year of study with the head of this course Elodie KACIOUI-MAURIN.
💚 🚒 The project: to equip the firemen of the Bouches-du-Rhône Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS 13) (project manager Marjorie SAMPSONI) with exoskeleton for the purpose of carrying, stretchering, moving in rugged areas.
💪 💎 The added value of our MALO students? Logistics management, management : Doing the market study of exoskeleton suppliers and proposing solutions adapted to the firefighters' professions, to the situations they encounter in the field, while other students from Aix-Marseille University with whom they collaborated in interdisciplinarity will have studied the kinematics of firefighters' movements (FSS, Guillaume RAO ) or that of exoskeletons (IUT, Santiago Arroyave-Tobon), others still the risks and insurances related to the use of these exoskeletons (FDSP, BENAUWT Eve) and others worked on the specifications of an exoskeleton (IMPGT, Anaïs Saint Jonsson).
🤩 MALO students were enthusiastic about the rse, social, societal, territorial aspect of the project. It was very rewarding for them to work with actors of the socio-economic world of our territory, to work as responsible citizens for the enhancement and protection of the territory in which they live and to be considered as professionals. They loved participating in this innovative project and discovering the whole ecosystem of innovation with Cité de l'Innovation et des Savoirs Aix-Marseille (CISAM)!
