Pre-Admission Application for L1 International Student Applicants

The application for prior admission(DAP) is compulsory for foreign students, holders (or future holders) of a foreign secondary school diploma obtained outside the EU, or an international baccalaureate, or a diploma giving access to European higher education, and applying for a first enrolment in the first year of the Bachelor's degree (L1).

You must therefore complete and submit :

  • a green DAP file if you reside in France,
  • a blank DAP file (through the dematerialised procedure or not) if you reside abroad.
  • If you live in France: the green DAP

    Where and when to remove a "green file"?

    • by downloading it directly with its notice from the website of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research,
    • with the cultural service of the French embassy of the country where you reside,
    • between November 1 and January 17 preceding the academic year for which you are applying.

    Where and when to apply?

    Green applications must be submitted or sent in full by registered mail:

    • January 17th of the current academic year at the latest.
    • at the service of the three selected universities
    • Concerning the Faculty of Economics and Management, please address this letter to the attention of Mrs. Lhopital).

    To apply for a first registration in L1, you must prove a good knowledge of French.

    Don't forget to register for the Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF) at the CIEP.

  • If you live abroad: the white DAP

    • You reside in a country that falls under the EFC procedure (dematerialized procedure)

    Theuse of the EFC procedure is compulsory in the following countries:

    You must follow a dematerialized procedure that allows you to formulate training requests and to dialogue with the Espace Campus France in your country and with the institutions from which you are requesting pre-registration.

    To do so, you must fill out an electronic application on the Campus France website corresponding to your country of origin at the following address: www.nomdupays.campusfrance.org (example: www.algerie.campusfrance.org).

    • You live in a country that does not fall under the CEF procedure ("paper" procedure)

    Where and when to withdraw a "white file"?

    You can withdraw the white DAP file :

    • by downloading it directly with its notice from the website of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research,
    • with the cultural service of the French embassy of the country where you reside,
    • between November 1 and January 17 preceding the academic year for which you are applying.

    Where to submit the "white file"?

    The white DAP file must be submitted to the cultural service of the French Embassy where you have collected it before January 17th of the current year.

    White DAP applications and Campus-France electronic applications are sent directly by the cultural services to the university of your first choice.

    No blank applications sent directly to the managers, outside of the procedure, will be studied. You must go through the consular services of your country of origin.
