MANY ADVANTAGES

The Faculty of Economics and Management enjoys a privileged situation: that of a key local player with strong international recognition. We offer a diversified range of training courses covering almost all areas of expertise related to economics and management, with a constant focus on societal innovations such as Big Data or CSR. We therefore offer access to all professions related to these disciplines.

As this offer is provided within the framework of the public university, it remains accessible to the greatest number while taking advantage of the reputation of Aix-Marseille University, the largest French-speaking university in the world.

More than any other structure in the region, it therefore meets the highest international standards, which are reflected in our many partnerships.

  • A rich and demanding training offer

    A progressive specialization

Progressive specialisation gives each student the opportunity to develop his or her autonomy as a condition for success in his or her studies and in his or her professional and civic life, through the construction of his or her personalised career path through DREAM-U (design your path to success at Aix-Marseille University), through the development of his or her skills, through the elaboration of his or her professional project.

It is based on the composition and acquisition of disciplinary, cross-disciplinary and integrative teaching, which will enable the student to adapt to the professions of tomorrow.

3 "pre-prep" classes at the university

In collaboration (convention) with the Lycée Jean Perrin, in Marseille : the Classe Préparatoire ENS D2 Economics & Management is carried out within the first two years of the Economics and Management Licence (EG).and the Preparatory Class ATS, within the L3 Gestion parcours Gestion des Entreprises.

In collaboration (convention) with the Lycée La Nativité d'Aix-en-Pce: the Preparatory Class for the entrance exam to the Institutes of Political Studies (IEP), is done within the first two semesters of the Licence EG.

Numerous conventions and bridges with the Classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles (C.P.G.E.) allow students to continue their studies within the faculty. Please note that not all the "Classes préparatoires" have an agreement!

1 double degree in law / economics - management

Among our double degrees, the double bachelor's degree in law-economy-management allows the student to acquire at the end of the course a bachelor's degree in law and a bachelor's degree in economy-management.

    Label and certifications

We know how important certifications and labels are to differentiate ourselves from other training courses and to show our demand for continuous quality. All our diplomas are certified and state-controlled. All our masters Our masters are registered with the RNCP and for the most part eligible for the CPF.

One of our departments is one of the few university research schools: the Aix Marseille School of Economics.

    • MIAGE training, ISO 9001 certified
    • 1 junior company: JUNIOR MIAGE CONCEPT AIX-MARSEILLE
    • Master EEM - MRQIP - Risk, Quality and Corporate Performance Management (MRQP), certified NF214 standard.
    • Master's degree in HRM, skills and talent management, "HR Reference" label.
    • Courses: Master 2 Wealth Management, Master 2 Financial Risk Management, DESU Asset and Asset Management - AMF and SFAF Partnership certified double international diploma CIWM or CIIA
    • Master's Degree in Economics of Law course Business law and economics (BLE), Erasmus Mundus certified

For all that concerns the continuing education of our university and therefore of our faculty, we are in Datadock FCU and Qualicert certified but also already labelled Qualiopi.

  • Research that resolutely creates added value for education and business

We take care to produce quality training courses because quality is in the very DNA of state training courses which are the result of the academic excellence carried by our teacher-researchers at the forefront of their fields of research in our research centres which are among the best in France.

With a faculty of 185 teacher-researchers, 5 laboratories, 3 LABEX and its participation in the Euro-Mediterranean Chair of Social and Solidarity-based Economy, the Faculty of Economics and Management is distinguished by its societal commitment linked to its internationally recognized research activity in economics and management.

  • Permanent interaction between the faculty and companies

The quality of our training courses also comes from the expertise of the professionals, managers and executives who are involved in our courses as experts in order to

    • to be able to offer professional labels - this historically in our masters as CCA with the members of the CROEC PACA and the CRCC Aix-Bastia but even in our University Diplomas like what is done between the DESU Gestion d'Actifs et de Fortune and the SFAF.
    • to develop our training courses within the improvement councils

These professionals are involved in other actions within the faculty, to accompany students towards successful professional integration: visits to their companies, simulated interviews, interventions within the teaching staff to support students in the development of their professional projects, professional conferences, proposals for internships, work-study programs and jobs. Payment of the apprenticeship tax to support training.

The students of the faculty through their junior company and their associations already participate in the economic fabric. These structures offer services to companies and enable students to put their knowledge into practice by meeting the needs of a variety of clients. They are a vector of employability and student commitment.

  • The international dimension at the heart of the UFR's strategy

The qualitative approach to teaching and research at the FEG has always brought our institution to the forefront of the international scene beyond our territory and has enabled it to weave a network of more than a hundred international partners to offer great opportunities for student mobility and to develop its international double degrees.

  • A Mediterranean and Provençal quality of life

From the Alps to the Mediterranean, FEG students, teachers and administrators enjoy natural landscapes of extraordinary diversity and beauty that they can discover and visit: sea, creeks, islands, marshes (Camargue), lakes, mountains (Sainte Victoire, Sainte-Baume, Gorges du Verdon, Luberon, Alpilles, Alps, the Porquerolles islands, the islands of Friuli, Lérins, Corsica, Sardinia...) and generous sunshine. Ideally located 3 hours from Paris, 1h1/2 hours from Lyon, 4 hours from Toulouse and 6 hours from Bordeaux. Aix and Marseille are within easy reach of the major French and European cities: Barcelona, Monaco, Florence, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Geneva, Lausanne, Stuttgart, Luxembourg, Valletta...

During their studies, students benefit during their studies, on campuses in city centres, from the dynamism and culture of the very large university cities of Aix-en-Provence and Marseille or smaller ones such as Arles and Gap, as well as from all the services available to them in the heart of these different cities.

Ancient cities, for three of them (Aix, Arles and Marseille), students and staff appreciate the historical and architectural heritage that makes up their daily lives.
