On Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 12:30 pm, the Galerie Itinérante de la FUP AIC will host the opening of the exhibition "Fragments" by Raffaello BURGO, accompanied by the Groupe chorégraphique Pierre de lune, a group of young dancers from the École de danse Katia Pierre.

With a dual cultural background, Raffaello Burgo, a graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Marseille, is engaged in introspective work: on the one hand, he examines the different representations of métissage through his personal experiences, focusing on questions of identity, and on the other, our view of our family heritage. He draws his inspiration from his grandmother, who orally passed on to him various
his heritage, giving rise to his retrospective view of childhood and adulthood.
In creating his own iconography, he works from personal archives, those borrowed from his research and those drawn from his memory.
