  • Objectives

    The Banking and International Business (BAI) course of the Master's degree in Management and International Trade trains specialists capable of implementing financial strategies on national or international projects, proposing the best financing solutions and managing the resulting financial risks. It prepares students to draw up international business plans for both bankers and managers. Students aiming for a career in banking will learn to assess future performance and risk, to make trade-offs between performance and acceptable risk. Students aiming for careers in business will learn to highlight the performance potential of the company and to plan the project under constraints. This is achieved by developing a thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of finance with a specific application to the measurement and management of financial risks, business plan expertise, and international project finance. Case studies and group work allow students to confront situations they will encounter in the professional environment.

    Who can apply?

    Students having validated a first year of Master (60 ects). Part of the courses being taught in English in M1 MCI and M2 MDCI, a certificate of English level (TOIEC, TOEFL,...) is required, among other documents to be attached to the online application.

  • Practical information

    The internship lasts 4 months in Master 1 and 5 to 6 months in Master 2. During this internship, the student must mobilise all the knowledge acquired during the Master's programme by carrying out an international assignment for a company or a bank.
    For the project, students work in a group for the company or bank that has submitted an international project to them.

    Teaching volume :

    Lectures: 480 hours
    Tutorial: 237 hours
    Internship: 20 weeks

    Pedagogical team :

    Research methodologies, research work and the intervention of teacher-researchers play an important role in the pedagogical approach within the BAI program. The academics who intervene in this course are recognized specialists in their field and hold responsibilities in scientific associations. They thus contribute to the quality of teaching: rigour, curiosity, critical thinking.
