My law degree allowed me to reach this Master's level, to join this class. I was able to learn a lot in terms of management in the field, but also in logistics, business management and marketing. The best part of the course was that I was able to benefit from the Pépite network, which collaborates with the Master Mode, to develop an upcycled fashion project and benefit from this network, as well as win several entrepreneurial prizes, so it was a great adventure! The professors were there to support us, whatever our projects were, and on top of that, our class was great and the teaching team was very present. If you want to become an executive in the fashion industry or develop your own project in the field, I recommend this master's degree which is structuring and opens interesting doors!

I did my gap year between my Master 1 and my Master 2. At first, I was a bit reluctant to leave the school system for a year. First of all because I was apprehensive about going back to university but also because of the bad image that a gap year can still have in companies. However, these were only preconceived ideas. I was an au-pair in Berlin for 2 months, then I joined a Berlin start-up for an internship for 3 months and then I d [...] Read more

First of all because I was apprehensive about going back to university but also because of the bad image that a gap year can still have in companies. However, these were only preconceived ideas. I was an au-pair in Berlin for 2 months, then I joined a Berlin start-up for an internship for 3 months and then I did a second internship of 6 months in France. I have always been able to justify my choice for this gap year. These two internships allowed me to better understand in which direction I wanted to go but also to facilitate my integration within a new M2 and within a company to carry out my apprenticeship year. I was able to acquire a lot of knowledge and skills and additional experiences that will be beneficial to me. I have no regrets about this gap year, quite the contrary!

I would advise anyone who wants to improve their language skills to go to a foreign country. I met a lot of people and had the opportunity to travel a lot. My gap year was a real success on all levels! If you have the opportunity and the means, I advise you to do it! You just have to know how to organize your gap year request with the university, so that when you come back, you don't have to worry about re-entering the university.

My post-baccalaureate studies at university did not allow me to have an idea of the professional world of business, I needed experience to help me make my choice of direction. So I did a gap year between my first and second masters. I found an internship in a start-up, where I ended up as a customer service manager. During the gap year, the company then kept me on a fixed-term contract and on a work-study programme for my Master's degree. It was a great experience both from a professional point of view because I quickly found myself with a lot of responsibilities and also in relation to my studies because the courses given during my Master 2 had much more meaning for me. I strongly recommend the gap year, especially to students who need something concrete. A gap year gives students the opportunity to have a prolonged experience in a company, can help to clarify one's orientation choices as well as to appreciate the courses differently afterwards.

Cécile, in Master 2 Management of cultural projects or establishments, course Administration of cultural institutions (AIC) at the FEG on the campus of Arles. I'm going to present you my training. Before starting my training, I did a degree in history, then I did a civic service in a cultural affairs department of a city and then I entered the Master's degree in History in the Cultural Project Management course at La Rochelle. I came to this Master's degree from the FEG, because I wanted to do my second year of the Master's degree as a sandwich course and the FEG allowed me to do so. Today I am doing my work-study at the department of Seine-et-Marne, in the cultural affairs department. We are organising a festival - it's very good because I am applying everything I learn in the framework of our training. For example, as part of our training, we had courses in intellectual property law, management, accounting, in management, in accounting. These are things that I hadn't seen at all, because my background was more in literature and the humanities, and today I use them every day! For example, we had courses in digital communication, to manage the festival's website, which is very useful, and also in terms of budgets, to know how to read an estimate and establish a budget for a project! Afterwards, I hope to graduate in September, after defending my thesis and continue working in public administration, because that's what I like. As I have been well trained at the FEG, I hope to graduate in September 2021
